In celebration of Valentine’s Day, the CFCA team decided to step away from our screens and lean into something a little more hands-on and heartfelt.
We gathered together to craft handmade Valentine’s Day cards for the residents of Winding Commons, a senior living facility in Carmichael. Armed with colorful paper, markers, stickers, and plenty of creativity, the team channeled their inner artists to create messages filled with warmth, encouragement, and joy.
Each card was crafted with care, in the hopes it can brighten someone’s day and let them know they’re remembered and appreciated.
2024
The CFCA team took part in a heartwarming initiative, delivering beautiful flower bouquets to CFCA members throughout the Sacramento area. These vibrant bouquets were generously provided by Relles Florist, a beloved local Sacramento business, as part of their annual 'Petal it Forward' event.
The purpose of the event was to spread joy and inspire kindness by encouraging recipients to 'petal it forward'—sharing their bouquet with someone else. It was a meaningful opportunity for our team to connect with members, brighten their day, and support a wonderful local cause.
